Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A total of 13 Indonesian students were sent to the United States to pursue studies in applied economics on fiscal policy, according to the United States Embassy here in its website on Tuesday.

The US Government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in partnership with Georgia State University and Gajah Mada University in Yogyakarta, has sent the first 13 students to earn their Master`s Degrees in Applied Economics concentrating on Fiscal Policy.

The students departed Indonesia on July 1, 2011 for 18 months of study.
