However, the players who are not sent to Turkmenistan would continue doing exercises in Jakarta to be led by assistant coach Widodo C Putra and Aji Santoso in a bid to strengthen the national team to face Turkmenistan when Jakarta will host the competition on July 28.
On the national team`s preparations, Darmawan said that everything had been conducted based on a tight schedule.
"Hopefully the tight preparations will result in good news," Darmawan said.
According to him, the failure of the past congress of the All-Indonesia Soccer Association (PSSI) in Pekanbaru (Riau province) on March 26 and that in Jakarta on May 20, 2011 to elect the PSSI`s new general chairman, had led to tight preparation of the national team.
The national team preparation could be conducted after the PSSI extraordinary congress in Solo, Central Java on last July 9 successfully elected its new leader, Djohar Arifin Husin.
Darmawan said further that the national team is expected to leave for Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on Wednesday after receiving visas on the same day.
Regarding the way to Turkmenistan, Darmawan said the team will make a transit in Qatar, adding the journey from Qatar to Turkmenistan is only about two hours and thirty minutes.
Meanwhile if the national team leaves for Turkmenistan on Tuesday by making transit in Turkey, the journey from Turkey to Turkmenistan normally takes four hours and thirty minutes.
Thus, the team`s departure to Turkmenistan on Wednesday with a transit in Qatar will safe time, Darmawan cited.
"We expressed hope that the players` condition can be maximum and still have time to have their health condition recovered after arriving in Ashgabat," Darmawan said.
