Pontianak, West Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - State oil and gas firm Pertamina has set up a task force to monitor the distribution of subsidized fuel oils and liquefied petroleum gas in West Kalimantan ahead of the Idul Fitri festivities.

"The team will monitor the distribution of subsidized fuel oils and LPG," Pertamina sales area manager for West Kalimantan Ibnu Chouldum said here Sunday.

Ibnu said the team would convey a routine report to the company to see if the distribution of subsidized fuel oils and LPG ran smoothly.

He assured that fuel oil supplies during the fasting month of Ramadhan and Idul Fitri festivities this year were safe. Pertamina would increase fuel oil supplies to the province 15 percent ahead of the festivities.

"Pertamina also has calculated fuel demand in the province 15 days before and after the festivities," he said.
