"It was confirmed from Tokyo that the AC Milan team will arrive in Bali on September 1, 2011 for a two-day vacation before proceeding to Jakarta on September 4," head of the charity match organizing committee who is also CEO of PT.ASD Alan Solowiejczyk said in a press statement.
According to him, all interested parties such as AFC, UEFA, FIGC and AC Milan have given approval regarding the implementation of international matches as stipulated in the FIFA rules.
The organizing committee said, as an effort to enliven Idul Fitri celebrations or Lebaran, AC Milan Foundation in cooperation with Nadhlatul Ulama, the country`s largest Muslim organization will organize the "Buy 1 Free 1" program for all categories of tickets through both online and offline sales.
The tickets sale package started from Saturday (Aug.27) at 10 am until Sunday (Aug.28) at 10 pm, he said, adding that ticket prices range from Rp50 thousand to Rp1.25 million.
Alan said, AC Milan Glorie is a program held at the initiative of PT. ASD to invite legend football clubs like the AC Milan`s Alessandro Costacurta, Franco Baressi, George Weah, Marcos Cafu, Daniele Masaro, Serginho, Nelson Dida and other legendary stars for charity match with the Indonesian team All Star.
"Proceeds of part of the ticket sales will be donated to the Nadhlatul Ulama Indonesia foundation," he added. (*)
