Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s under-16 years of age soccer team (U-16 team) was defeated by host Thailand 1-4 in the qualifying round of Group G of the U-16 Pre Asia Cup at Rajamangala stadium in Bangkok on Monday night.

In the meantime the Hong Kong team in the same group was also defeated by Myanmar 2-4 while Australia scored a 10-0 dramatic victory against Guam, according the official website of AFC on Monday.

With the results, Thailand took over the lead in Group G with 12 points. Indonesia took the second position with nine points followed by Australia with also nine points.

Myanmar was ranked fourth (3), followed by Hong Kong (3) and Guam (0).

Thailand has won the ticket to the final round of the Asian U-16 Soccer Cup 2012.
