The exported woven handicraft goods included woven bags, paper towels, ingke (food places) and artistic lampshades, Wayan Gatrana, a local entrepreneur said here.
The Ata woven crafts were initially produced in Gumung village, Tengangan, Karangasam in the form sacred traditional objects of the "Megeret prisai Pandan" exhibition which was held in the annual Aci Sambah" ceremony.
The woven handicrafts were then developed in the villages of
Bungaya, Bebandem, including Seraya which had attracted foreign tourists, he said.
