Nazaruddin had left his bag to then ambassador Manufandu after the Interpol had nabbed him.
He claimed that the bag contained a compact disk on a CCTV recording of his meeting with Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Deputy Chairman Chandra M Hamzah.
There was also a flash disk containing a recording of flows of allegedly illegal funds to Anas Urbaningrum, chairman of the ruling Democrat Party.
The compact and flash disks were not among the items taken out from the bag by the KPK before journalists upon Nazaruddin`s arrival in Jakarta from Colombia.
After being on the run across three continents for about 75 days, Nazaruddin, the former Democrat Party treasurer, was finally arrested by Colombian Police last August.
Nazaruddin was caught in Cartagena, a small town located over 600 km from Bogota, Colombia, South America, on Sunday (August 7, 2011), by local police who suspected him of using a fake passport.
In Indonesia, the KPK wants him in its investigation into a bribery case related to an athletes` dormitory project in Palembang for the upcoming SEA Games. (F001/HAJM/f001)
