Deputy Laotian Defence Minister Maj. Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath offered the congratulation at a function hosted by Indonesian Defense Attache in Laos Col. Arm Saptono Adji to mark the TNI`s 66th anniversary in Laos on Saturday night.
Chanyalath also expressed gratitude to the TNI chief, TNI officials and Defense Ministry officials for their endeavors to enhance cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
He expressed hope that the good cooperation could be maintained and further enhanced in the future.
Meanwhile, Saptono Adji said the function was a routine agenda of the office of the Indonesian defence attache in Laos to commemorate the TNI`s anniversary.
"We hold this activity every year by inviting military and defense attaches from various countries in Laos. Frankly speaking, they have responded to the invitations enthusiastically," he said. (S012)
