Palembang (ANTARA News) - Swimmers from Singapore in the 26th Southeast Asian Games` swimming competition at the Jakabaring aquatic stadium are still dominating the medal tally.

Until the fourth day of the swimming competition on Tuesday the swim team from Singapore has garnered 10 golds, 4 silver, and 7 bronzes.

The Singapore swimming team temporarily ranked first in medal earning from the swimming competition, while Thailand was in second position with 5 golds, 2 silvers, and 2 bronzes.

But Indonesia, the host country, was in the position with 3 golds, 6 silvers, and 6 bronzes, followed by Vietnam in fourth position with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronzes; and Malaysia in the fifth position with 4 silvers, followed by the Philippines with 4 silverand 2 bronzes.

The SEA Games swimming competition is participated in by 10 countries, competing for 38 gold medals, but so far only 6 countries have earned medals.
