Public prosecutor I Gusti Putu Atmaja said here on Friday seven days after judge Amzer Simanjuntak sentenced LM to two months in jail, the prosecutor as well as LM's lawyer decided not to appeal the verdict.
"We have conveyed to the judge that we have accepted the verdict and the lawyer has also done so. It means as of today, the verdict is already final. The defendant no longer needs to write a letter to state the decision. It is enough for it to be conveyed verbally," Atmaja said.
He said he would execute the verdict on LM on Sunday (Dec 4) and would hand him over to the Immigration Office for further action.
"Later, on Sunday, we will pick up the person concerned from the Immigration Detention Center in Jimbaran, and then take him to a penitentiary in Denpasar for registration," he said.
After being registered, finger printed and his picture taken LM would be taken to the Immigration Office in Ngurah Rai. Regarding LM's deportation, Atmaja said that it was under the authority of the immigration office.

LM was caught by police in Kuta tourist resort in Bali on October 4 carrying 6.9 grams of marijuana gross or 3.6 grams net in his pocket.
To the police LM admitted he bought the illegal drug from a person he did not know in Kuta.
Due to that the judge sentenced him on November 25 to two months in jail minus time in detention and spent for attending court sessions. (H-YH)
