Cilacap (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was scheduled to visit state oil firm Pertamina, Cilacap, Central Java, on Dec 28, 2011.

"The President will join a groundbreaking of the building of a Residual Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) plant," Cilacap Pertamina public relations chief Ruseno said on Thursday.

He said the project will be built by PT Adhi Karya Tbk under a cooperation with Goldstar Co Ltd.

Besides visiting Pertamina, he added, the President will meet local farmers and fishermen.

On a different occasion, public relations chief of Cilacap Taryo confirmed the meeting with farmers and fishermen in Cilacap.

The President will visit Cilacap on December 28 and 29, 2011.

The construction of the 931.48 million US dollars or Rp8 trillion RFCC project by PT Adhi Karya Tbk with the cooperation of Goldstar Co Ltd which had been appointed by Pertamina after the Adhi-Goldstar consortium had won the tender on September 12, 2011.

RFCC is a finery of Pertamina in Cilacap with a capacity of 62 thousand BPS using the Technology Licensor UOP and AXENS.

The project is slated for completion (operational acceptance) and handed over in 39 months.

With the operation of the RFCC Plant, Pertamina will make a great deal of saving in operating the plant, and thus saving state funds including the saving of oil subsidies.
