Jakarta (ANTARA News) - House of Representatives (DPR) Deputy Speaker Pramono Anung said the results of a forensic audit conducted on the Bank Century bailout by the State Audit Board (BPK) were still "unsatisfactory."

"The BPK audit has not yielded anything extraordinary and therefore is still unsatisfactory," Pramono said here Friday after the House leadership formally received the BPK`s final report on its investigation.

The BPK had done the audit at the House leadership`s request.

Pramono said the House had asked for the audit as a House plenary session last year had endorsed the House`s Special Bank Century Case Committee`s belief that some of the bailout funds extended to the ailing bank had actually found their way into the coffers of a certain political party.

"But now, the report on the BPK audit says no such fund flows (to a certain political party) were found," he said.

Noting that the tenure of the House`s Team Monitoring the Handling of the Bank Century Case (by law enforcing agencies) had been extended until December 2012, Pramono said he hoped the team would be smart enough to identify things needing deeper investigation in the case "such as fund flows to a certain foundation and to the Bank Indonesia board of directors."

Meanwhile, in remarks after presenting the BPK`s report on its forensic audit on the Bank Century bailout, BPK Chairman Hadi Purnomo said the board had met five obstacles in its investigation.

The first obstacle was the fact that BPK could not gain access to some of the key players in the Bank Century case. He identified them by their initials as AT, DT, HT, RAR, HAW, HH and KJ. They included individuals who were on the police`s wanted persons` list or undergoing a legal process.

The BPK was therefore unable to obtain vital information and documents from those key players.

Secondly, BPK was denied access to information on transactions made abroad relating to Bank Century because of banking secrecy rules in the foreign countries concerned.

Thirdly, the data on Bank Century clients and their transactions the BPK was able to obtain was incomplete.

Fourthly, BPK was not given enough access to documents and information relating to the Bank Century bailout case that were used by law enforcing agencies in their investigations, prosecution and court interrogations of other persons involved in the case.

Fifthly, BPK could not gain access to documents and information relating to PT Antaboga Deltasekuritas Indonesia (ADI), a company related to Bank Century.
