Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA News) - Many Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) took part in legalizing foreign workers, such as those without the necessary and required legal papers in Malaysia, but using fake papers.

The Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur found that many Indonesian passport applicants had fake documents.

In the meantime, another problem is that actually some of the TKIs had legal passports, but said that they have lost them, but following intensive dialogues they eventually admitted they had lost their passports for unknown reasons.

"The handing over of old or lost passports is very important bcause the Malaysian immigration authorities already have their finger prints, so that the old passports can no longer be used after obtaining the new ones," he said.(*)
