Cilacap, C Java (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Wednesday cut short his two-day working visit in Cilacap, Central Java, where he launched the groundbreaking for a residual fluid catalytic cracking (RFCC) project earlier in the day.

Yudhoyono who had originally planned to stay in Cilacap for two days was scheduled to leave the Cilacap railway station at 09.00 p.m. on Wednesday and arrive at the Gambir railway station in Jakarta early Thursday.

The head of state was not during the visit accompanied by his wife Ani Yudhoyono who is being treated at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital in Jakarta.

According to presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha, a team of presidential doctors had recommended that Ani Yudhoyono should take a rest for two to three days although her health condition was getting better.

But he added that Ani Yudhoyono`s health was not the reason for the President to cut short the visit.

"The President has no other program here," he said.

While in Cilacap, President Yudhoyono also officially marked the operation of three coal-fired power plants (PLTU), namely PLTU 1 Banten-Suralaya in Cilegon with a capacity of 625 MW, PLTU 3 Banten Unit 1 Tangerang, Banten, with a capacity of 315 MW and PLTU Tanjung Jati Expansion Unit 3 in Jepara, Central Java, with a capacity of 66 MW.

The President`s entourage included Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan and Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi. (*)
