Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center (PPATK) Chief Muhammad Yusuf said the charge against Mohammad Nazaruddin who is on trial for involvement in the SEA Games 2011 athletes` village bribery case was too light.

"I am disappointed that Nazaruddin is only charged with receiving gratification or bribes, whereas the case involves huge cash flows." Muhammad Yusuf said in a discussion with the press at the PPATK Building, here Wednesday.

Muhammad Nazaruddin was charged with receiving bribes amounting to Rp4.6 billion for helping PT. Duta Graha Indah win the contract on the SEA Games athletes village Project.

In fact, he said, the PPATK had found some suspicious financial transactions worth Rp10 billion and cash transactions for a total amount of Rp100 billion, Yusuf said.

Any bribe recipient , besides Nazaruddin, should also be named suspect in the case, Yusuf said.

A few witnesses in the case had mentioned the names of some Democratic Party (PD) politicians in the courtroom , namely PD chairman Anas Urbaningrum, legislator Angelina Sondakh, House Commission X chairman Mahyudin, House Budgetary Body vice chairman Mirwan Amir and legislator Sutan Batoeghana.

In the discussion, Former PPATK Chief Yunus Husein expressed his appreciation to the national press for its valuable condtributions to the enforcement of the law and enlightenment of the public.
