Indonesia beat Vietnam in the semifinals during extra time, Chief of the National Futsal Board at the All-Indonesia Football Association (BFN PSSI) Yerico Umbas said from Bangkok.
"Automatically, (Indonesia) advances to the Asia Cup finals because only the first-to third-ranked teams in the ASEAN zone are qualified for the finals," he said.
In the finals of the futsal tournament ASEAN zone qualifying round Indonesia met Thailand which had beaten Australia 7-0.
Vietnam will play against Australia for third place.
