"Just wait, we will publicize the results of the investigation next week," the Discipline Commission Chairman of the All-Indonesia Soccer Association (PSSI), Bernhard Limbong said.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The representative of FIFA has started investigating the cause of the national senior soccer team`s 0-10 loss to Bahrain on Wednesday (Feb 29) in Group E of the Pre-World Cup 2014.

Results of the investigation will be announced next week, said the Discipline Commission Chairman of the All-Indonesia Soccer Association (PSSI), Bernhard Limbong here on Friday.

"Just wait, we will publicize the results of the investigation next week," Limbong said at the PSSI office here.

He expressed his hope that none of the country`s team players would be investigated.

However, he added that his side remained open if any of the national soccer team`s members would be investigated.

According to him, PSSI will impose a strict sanction on any of the national team players who proved to be traitor that led to the national team`s loss.

In addition, PSSI also hoped FIFA would investigate the referee (Andre El Haddad) from Lebanon who led the last match in Group E of the Pre-World Cup 2014.

In facing Bahrain in the Group E of the Pre-World Cup 2014, Indonesian was represented by the national U-23 team (under 23 years old players).

In a tossup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Indonesian soccer team was placed in Group E of the Pre-World Cup 2014 round along with Iran, Qatar and Bahrain.(*)
