"We will assign police investigators to do the homework," the command spokesman, Senior Commissioner Rikwanto, said here on Friday.
He stated that the investigators would collect information from the four members of the Air Defence Artillery (Arhanud) in order to better understand the case.
Rikwanto said the investigation into a series of attacks by motorists would be done jointly by military and police teams.
He added that the number of alleged attackers could increase, coming from security forces as well as civilians.
The Jakarta Military Command chief, Major General Waris, said he had arrested four members of the Arhanud 06 based in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, who were allegedly involved in the attacks on youth bikers.
Three people died and several others were wounded, following attacks on motorist groups in North and Central Jakarta recently.(*)
