"Pertamina and PLN will remain the biggest contributors to the total revenue of state-owned companies," the ministry`s secretary, Wahyu Hidayat, said.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The State Enterprises Ministry has projected revenues from all state firms in 2012 to reach Rp1,495.689 trillion, of which 49.56 percent will originate from state oil and gas firm Pertamina and state electricity company PT PLN.

"Pertamina and PLN will remain the biggest contributors to the total revenue of state-owned companies," the ministry`s secretary, Wahyu Hidayat, said on the sidelines of a function in connection with state firms` performance in 2011 at the ministry building here on Friday.

"The two companies are projected to have a combined income of Rp741,315.48 trillion this year, down by 7.18 percent from Rp798,692.57 trillion last year," he stated.

"The drop will be because of Pertamina`s declining sales, particularly after the Indonesian crude price (ICP) has been set at US$105 a barrel in the revised 2012 state budget, compared with US$110 a barrel in 2011," Wahyu explained.

He said the next largest share of the 2012 state budget will be contributed by state-owned banks; Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI, Bank BRI, and Bank BTN. They are all expected to contribute Rp145,121.123 trillion to the state budget, up by 15 percent from Rp127,061.846 trillion last year.

"Non-bank publicly listed state firms are projected to contribute Rp244,185.652 trillion to the 2012 state budget, a 15 percent increase compared with last year`s Rp212,335.35 trillion," Wahyu noted.

The contributions of other state firms to the 2012 state budget are expected to reach Rp364,066.96 trillion, jumping 45.87 percent from Rp249,578.883 trillion last year.

"Almost all state firms will be able to increase their income. The greatest income will come from energy, plantation, financial, and infrastructure sector," Wahyu said. (*)
