"I am optimistic that the cooperation will be profitable for both parties."
Kupang (ANTARA News) - A collaboration between the Government of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province and Timor Leste in the health sector will lead to the establishment of a sister hospital programme, according to Governor Frans Lebu Raya.

"I am optimistic that the cooperation will be profitable for both parties who are aiming to improve their health service quality," the governor said here on Monday.

He added that the sister hospital programme was expected to provide the people of NTT and Timor Leste with better health services.

The governor stated that such cooperative efforts would also have a positive impact on the relations between NTT, as part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Timor Leste.

He noted that some nurses from NTT were already working at the hospital in Timor Leste.

"Based on a report from Indonesian Ambassador to Timor Leste, Eddy Setyabudi, there are 14 nurses from East Nusa Tenggara in the country," Lebu Raya said.
