Sukabumi (ANTARA News) - The traffic police of the Sukabumi police precinct has been investigating a road accident in Pasirhalang village, Sukaraja sub-district, Sukabumi district that killed two villagers.

"We are still investigating an accident that killed a grand mother and her grandchild after a truck carrying white lime struck three residential houses in the village," the city traffic police chief, Adjunct Commissioner Sundarti told the press here on Saturday.

The fatalities were identified as Muhamad Nizam (9) and Tati (85).

The two victims died in their house that buried them after the loaded truck heading to Sukabumi from Cianjur in a high speed, rammed into the house.

Meanwhile in Central Java, two persons were killed during a road accident on Saturday when a `Suzuki carry` minivan rammed into a truck in Gadingharjo village, Juwana sub-district, Pati district.

The fatalities were identified as Domo (48), the minivan driver, and Harsono (46), a passenger, Pati traffic police chief Adjunct Commissioner Sudaryoto said here on Saturday.

The police added that Domo and Harsono hailed from Kayuringin, Bekasi, West Java and Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, respectively.

According to a witness, Sutoyo, the accident happened at about 11.30am on Pati-Rembang road when the minivan, which was traveling at a high rate of speed, slammed into a truck coming from the opposite direction.(*)
