Executive chairman of Sawahlunto Adventure Trail 2012 Muksis said in here on Sunday that the race on June 16 and 17 was joined by participants from Jambi, Riau and West Sumatra.
"The race was started in the triangle square and finished at the Pancar Kandi Resort," he said.
He said the winners of the competition will have a KLX Motor Trail from the Pancar Racing Team and a Monstrak motorcycle from BMK and some other interesting prizes including a refrigerator and television set.
He said Sawahlunto Adventure had been held several times for tourist promotion of Sawahlunto city in the form of an adventurous sports competition benefiting Sawahlunto topography of the beautiful scenery.
Two national racers Jaka Bulung Bayes and Zulfikar took part in Sawahlunto Adventure Trail 2012.
Sawahlunto Adventure Trail 2012 was officially opened by Deputy Mayor of Sawahlunto Erizal Ridwan.
He said that Sawahlunto city administration fully supported the tourism sport and at the same time the tourism sector.
He also hoped this activity would become a regular tourism program of Sawahlunto. (*)
