"The employees and labourers deserve to get the THR and the companies in West Java have to pay it in line with the regulation," he stated here on Monday, adding that the THR should have been paid a week before the Id-ul-Fitr festivities.
Deddy said his association had already communicated with the provincial human resources office and the labour union to ensure that there would be no dispute later on account of allowance payments.
"APINDO has reminded related parties about the THR issue well in advance in order to avoid any problem. So far, there has been no problem," he pointed out.
When asked whether any company was likely to fail to pay the THR, Deddy said he had not yet come across such a case.
"In addition to receiving the allowance, the workers will also get holidays for seven or eight days during the festivities," he added. (B003/INE/BSR/YH)
