Bogor (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono outlined six priorities of Indonesia`s economic targets in a meeting discussing the economic outlook for 2013-2014 at Bogor Palace, West Java, Friday.

The six priorities are economic growth, the creation of job opportunities, price stability, poverty eradication, food resilience, and energy security.

"The six main targets are our focuses and priorities for the next two years," the president said.

Amidst the current economic uncertainty due to the European economic crisis, the government must keep vigilant, although Indonesia`s economic growth rate remains above six percent, he said.

The government must also ensure the success of the government working plans and the State Budget drafts for 2013 and 2014, he added.

Hard work is needed to strengthen the economic foundation in the future as the global economic threats linger.

Further, the government must make better policies and regulations as well as improve the business climate in the future, he added.

Among those present at the meeting were Vice President Boediono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, and Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono.

Other ministers attending the meeting were National Development Planning Minister/Chairperson of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Armida Alisjahbana, Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo, State Enterprise Minister Dahlan Iskan, Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan.

Also Agriculture Minister Suswono, Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan, Tourism and Creative Economic Minister Marie Elka Pangestu, Transportation Minister EE Mangindaan, Energy and Mineral Sources Minister Jero Wacik, Manpower and Transmigration Minister Muhaimin Iskandar, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Cicip Sutardjo, and Cooperatives Minister Syarif Hasan.

Governor of Bank Indonesia Darmin Nasution and Chairman of the National Investment Coordinating Board M Chatib Basri were also present at the retreat.
