Jasa Marga pledges to continue to improve its services, including construction and transaction services."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State toll road operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk will propose a 10 percent rise in the tariff for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road effective at the end of September.
"We hope the tariff for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road will be raised at the end of September according to the inflation rate hike of nearly 10 percent in the past couple of years," PT Jasa Marga Operations Director Hasanudin said here on Sunday.
Right now the company is familiarizing motorists with the planned toll hike, he said.
"According to the rule, the fee for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road should have been raised early July 2012," he said.
Yet the toll road regulatory body at the Public Works Ministry said several aspects of services still have to be improved before the company pushes through the toll hike.
