Mataram, W Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA News) - The anti-terrorist squad Densus 88 has found raw materials used to make 261 pipe bombs at the hideouts of suspected terrotists in West Nusa Tenggara's Kendai area.

"The raw materials used to make bombs were found in the scene during the two raids on the suspected terrorists' hideouts at Kendai in Dompu district, " Chief of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Police Brigadier General Muchamad Iriawan said here on Wednesday.

The raids were conducted at Mangge Nae bordering Bima district on January 4 and at Kendai on January 5, he said.

During the raid on the hideouts of terrorist suspects at Mangge Nae, two suspected terrorists put on the police`s wanted list were shot dead.

The two terrorist suspects were identified as Roy from Makassar, South Sulawesi, and Bahtiar from Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara.

During the raid the police also seized two firearms and dozens of bullets. Three terrorist suspects were shot dead and another one escaped when the Densus 88 conducted a raid on their hideouts at Kendai.

The three suspected terrorist were identified as Rizal alias Andi Kamayama alias Andi Brekele, Pais, and Riswanto only after their bodies were flown to Jakarta.
