The US market rebounded in last night`s trade reversing previous two days` trend.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) opened trading this morning with the composite share price index rising 5.83 points boosted by strengthening of US market.

The BEI index rose 0.13 percent to 4,368.76 points with the index of 45 most liquid stocks up 0.2 percent to 746.10 points.

"Asian markets including BEI opened stronger this morning with positive sentiments brought about by the US market strengthening," Samuel Sekuritas` analyst Benedictus Agung said .

The US market rebounded in last night`s trade reversing previous two days` trend, Benedictus noted.

On the domestic market, a number of stocks such as coal and banking stocks ,which fell yesterday are expected to rebound today, he said.

Panin Sekuritas` analyst Purwoko Sartono predicted that the BEI index would continue to consolidate but tends to weaken at a round 4,330-4,385 points.

Regional markets Hang Seng recorded an increase of 0.51 percent in index to 23,335.88 points , and Nikkei-225 index also rose 0.50 percent to 10,631.05 points with Straits Times falling 0.25 percent to 3,228.30 points.
