"Data of citizens recorded in the E-IDs would be used as the reference for producing the provisional and permanent lists of voters for the 2014 general elections and so it is impossible for the vote to be multiplied," he said at a national coordination meeting ahead of the submission of data of potential voters for the elections here on Tuesday.
The minister said a total of 175,142,000 voters have been recorded in the E-IDs across the country. "Data of their finger prints and retinas have all been recorded and they are valid," he said.
He said the E-IDs would help ease voters` registration by the General Elections Commission (KPU).(*)
