Jakarta, Indonesia, Feb 16, 2013 - (ANTARA) - A star-studded K-Pop 'KBS Music Bank World Tour' will come to the GBK Stadium in Jakarta on March 9, 2013. The long-awaited concert for all Indonesian fans of K-pop, promoted by Asia Top Entertainment with support by Live Motion Pictures (South Korea) and Marygops Studios (Indonesia), will be the largest concert collaboration for K-pop ever in Indonesia.

KBS Music Bank World Tour Jakarta will bring together eight leading K-pop idols - SuperJunior, SHINee, 2PM, Beast, Infinite, Sistar, Teen Top and Eru - and at the same time will celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

"One of the most important parts of Music Bank World Tour Jakarta will be a celebration of 40 years' diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Korea. Music Bank will feature some of the most popular Indonesian stars today, while the live event in Jakarta will feature MCs from Indonesia and Korea as well," said Dina Kim, CEO of Asia Top Entertainment (ATE).

Music Bank is one of the most popular Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) programs, broadcast from the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Seoul live via the KBS World Channel to 72 countries around the world. The program has become a benchmark for the popularity of K-pop artists with its weekly countdown K-Charts, and is a driving force behind the famous Hallyu Wave, or Korean Wave, sweeping across and beyond Asian markets.

Music Bank spread its wings in 2011 with an immensely successful live concert in Tokyo entitled the Music Bank World Tour, bringing KBS closer to Korean music fans outside the country. 2012 saw Music Bank World Tour holding phenominal live concerts in Paris, Hong Kong, and Vina del Mar, Chile while 2013 sees Jakarta becoming the fifth stop on the Music Bank World Tour.

"This Music Bank World Tour live concert will be an enormous musical event in Indonesia, with 8 great stars present here in Jakarta. And of course for the fans of K-pop we have chosen a great venue for this event - GBK is a right place to organize the Music Bank," said Peter Harjani as a Creative Director of Marygops Studios.

"Our show will be different because we want to involve the fans in this concert. We welcome suggestions from all Indonesian K-pop fans - in order to create a special type of concert, which has never happened before in Indonesia," said Dan Kim as a CEO of Live Motion Pictures (LMP).
