Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened lower on Thursday along with Asian markets.

"The majority of Asian stocks, including the rupiah opened lower on Thursday amid the United States` third quantitative easing (QE) program which is now still under a debate," said Samuel Securities analyst Benedict Agung here on Thursday said

IHSG dropped 13.72 points, or 0.30 percent, to 4,620.74 points and LQ45 fell 3.43 points, or 0.43 percent, to 787.57 points.

He added that the weakening of world commodity prices Wednesday night was also a negative factor in the Asian markets.(*)
