According to the report of Presidential Office Website on Tuesday, the president expressed his deep sorrow over the disaster and asked officials in the relief bodies to use all their abilities and possibilities to help the people.
He asked salvation for the dead, health for the injured, and patience for the survivors.
Following a deadly earthquake in the southern province of Bushehr, Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei expressed his deep grief in a message.
According to the report of the Supreme Leader Office Website on Tuesday, Ayatollah Khamenei, in the message, has prayed for divine mercy, asked for demised persons salvation, cure for the injured, and patience for the survivors.
He urged his representative in the province and other provincial officials as well as officials in the capital to do their best on relief work.
The supreme leader also urged all Iranians to play their bright role as ever in decreasing sufferings of the grief-stricken people of the province.
