Cilacap, Central Java (ANTARA News) - Members of Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) accompanied by several other rescuers continue searching two drowning victims at Criwik Beach located at Kebumen district, Central Java.

"This morning, we sent the teams for further searching undiscovered drowning victims` at Criwik Beach, Puring district, Kebumen district," Basarnas coordinator at Cilacap Station Tri Joko Priyono confirmed here on Monday.

The two victims are identified as Irfan,17, and Ary Sofyan Norantoko,23, hailing from Kalitengah Village, Gombong Sub District of Kebumen district, Tri said, adding that the two victims were playing at the beach along with their other colleagues when the huge waves dragged them out to seashore.

The incident occurred at 16.15 pm on Sunday, Tri quoted witnesses as saying.

According to him, the teams started the search by combing the beach water out of 500 meters away from location to the seashore and allowing boats utilization in better weather.

Other SAR teams joining the Basarnas are Elang Perkasa, Lawet Perkasa, Puring Police precinct, the District Military Command.
