"There will be no power blackouts during the exams."
Samarinda, East Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - A total of 188 bales of state examination materials arrived in Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan on Wednesday morning.

"At wee hour on Wednesday, a total of 118 bales of state examination materials arrived at Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan," East Kalimantan Head of Educational affairs office, Musyahrim told the press following a teleconference with East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Insp. Gen. Anas Yusuf on Wednesday.

"We received the confirmation from Education and Culture Ministry, saying that the materials were transmitted by Air Force Hercules that made a transit at Banjarmasin Airport, South Kalimantan," Musyahrim said.

With the materials arrival, Musyahrim said that East Kalimantan Education affairs office has received 391 bales out of 490 bales of the materials which are needed by East Kalimantan.

Musyarim added that the materials would be used on Thursday (April 18) and Friday (April 19) while the rest will follow.

According to Musyahrim, police and the military will help distribute the materials by using 10 trucks, a chopper and one cargo vessel.

In the meantime, the State-owned Electricity company (PLN) has delayed conducting network installation project in Sampit due to state examination taking place from Thursday to Saturday.

"There will be no power blackouts during the exams. We postpone the installation of a 20KV project and it would be moved on after the exams," PLN Sampit Project Manager Supardji said.

Previously, Ministry of Education and Culture asked Air Force to help distribute the national examination materials 2013 for senior high school students in 11 provinces in central Indonesia.

Education and Culture Minister Muhammad Nuh said here on Sunday that the 11 provinces that have to postpone the national exams are South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara and Gorontalo.
