Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian government bought back state debt securities (SUN) worth more than Rp17.40 billion from the secondary market on Tuesday as part of state bond portfolio management.

The state bonds consisted of series FR0032 worth Rp5,51 billion with a weighted average price of 143.80 percent and series FR0038 worth Rp11.90 billion with a weighted average price of 129.05 percent, the Directorate General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The bonds series FR0032 due on July 15, 2018 carried a coupon of 15.00 percent and the bonds series FR0038 due on August 15, 2018 carried a coupon of 11.60 percent.

The settlement of the state bond buyback will be done on May 30 according to the existing rules, the statement said.

With the buyback, the bonds are declared settled and no longer valid.
