Stockholm (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the company of First Lady Mrs Ani Yudhoyono and entourage left Stockholm`s Arlanda International Airport at 10am local time on Wednesday for New York, the United States.

The head of state and party will fly for 8 hours and 30 minutes and are scheduled to arrive in New York at 12.30 am local time.

During his visit in Sweden, the head of state held meetings with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, Parliamentary Chairman Per Westerberg and Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf.

The president also attended meetings with business circles to build closer cooperation, particularly on Swedish investment in Indonesia.

In New York, President Yudhoyono will attend the United Nations` High Level Panel which will discuss post 2015 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)`s development programs.
