PT SPP General Manager Arissandi said here on Thursday that his company was now developing a number of facilities needed to carry out the gold exploitation activities.
"We are now constructing a number of facilities needed to carry out the gold exploitation activities," he said.
Arissandi said that based on the studies his company conducted on a 25-hectre land there, the area had about 300 thousand troy ounces of gold deposit, or about 9,450,000 grams of gold.
However, he said, his company will open 140 hectares of land for the development of facilities such as camps, factories, disposal facilities and others.
He said that the quality of the gold deposit was very good and met the requirement for exploitation for about 5 to 10 years.(*)
