The Technology Day is observed every August 10 to promote the technological progress which was marked for the first time on August 10, 1995, coinciding with the maiden flight of Indonesia-made N250 plane and the 50th anniversary of Indonesia`s Independence Day.
This year`s Technology Day is highlighted with a research and technology exhibition being held at TMII until September 1.
Nine workshops and seminars on technology are also scheduled to be organised respectively on August 29 and 30, with topics among other things on satellites, rockets, electric cars, drones and transfer of technologies.
