We have scheduled the distribution of logistics to three islands near Bali main island."Denpasar, Bali Province (ANTARA News) - Bali Waters Police will secure the election logistics distribution from main island to surrounding small islands including Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan of Klungkung District.
"We have scheduled the distribution of logistics to three islands near Bali main island," Director of the Bali Waters Police Senior Commissioner Tubuh Musyareh said here, on Sunday.
The Police will deploy two ferries to evacuate the logistics and two patrol boats to guard the distribution.
He said the distribution of boxes, letters and other necessities will use ferries from Padangbai Seaport of Karangasem District.
"We will deploy the "Escape" and another patrol boat to guard the ferries from Padangbai," Tubuh said.
He added the police personnel will be deployed inside the ferries when crossing the waters.
"We will coordinate with Brigadier Mobile and Klungkung Waters Police as well as Sabhara unit," Tubuh said.
The Indonesian Police will also deploy two C-2 speedboats to patrol in Bali waters.
The Police will operate the speedboat in Benoa Seaport of Denpasar and in Padangbai of Karangasem District.
"The two boats will be used to secure the waters territorial in Bali," Tubuh said.
Indonesia will hold general and presidential elections respectively on April 9 and July 9, 2014.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has instructed security officers including the Police and Indonesian Military to secure the logistics distribution and the process of elections. ***1***
