"We always respect the Constitutional Courts decision annulling an article restricting the period of time to announce the results of election surveys and polling," he pointed out, after campaigning for his party in the Kauman Square here on Friday.
All sides must support the constitutional courts decision, he declared.
More importantly, pollsters and political parties alike must refrain from turning the cooling-off period into restlessness, he advised.
He expressed hope that all contestants will respect the cooling-off period to allow people to think over their choices.
"Lets create more conducive atmosphere during the cooling-off period," he asserted.
Under more tranquil circumstances, voters will be able to think clearly about their choices and will be free from intervention, which might tamper with their choices, he explained.
Now is the right time for the people to choose leaders who have high integrity and competency, he pointed out.
"If we are wrong in choosing leaders, this nation may fall into a difficulty," he remarked.
If all parties respect the rules of games, ethics and laws, he explained that he will not question the pollsters.(*)
