Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a plenary meeting here on Tuesday with his ministers to discuss accomplishment of his government tasks.

"Let us take fast steps to accomplish (the governments tasks). I appeal to the chief ministers to point out the homework that has to be finished," the President stated during the opening of the plenary meeting.

The plenary meeting was attended by Vice President Boediono, ministers, government officials of the ministerial and institutional levels, national innovation committee members, and a number of regional government heads.

President Yudhoyono stated that in the final year of his two terms, the government, based on the Constitution, is still obligated to work out the draft of the 2015 state budget, although his government will end in October 2014.

Therefore, he called on the ministers to draft the budget in a good formulation so that it can be implemented by the next government.

He noted that he will extend the matter to the president-elect so that the new president could understand and could make adjustments if need be in carrying out the administration.(*)
