Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Young voters in the age group of 17 to 22 years prefer the Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla pair to the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa duo for the presidential election scheduled on July 9, according to Polcomm.

Based on its recent survey involving 1.2 thousand respondents from 33 provinces in the country, 6.4 percent of the total of 46.4 percent of the Jokowi-JK pairs supporters were young voters while the rest were aged between 23 and 43 years, Polcomms researcher, Adhal Makkuraga Putra, remarked here on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, out of the 43.3 percent supporters of the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa pair only 3.6 percent were young voters while the rest were aged between 23 and 40 years.
