Sunday edition of the English language newspaper Iran Daily wrote that titled Joy Village, the series will be produced by Irans Art Bureaus (Hozeh Honari) Center for Studying and Producing Animations in cooperation with a Canadian firm.
Seyyed Masoud Safavi, director of the center, said, The project is being undertaken in a move to expand cooperation with advanced animation producing countries.
The screenplay for the 60-episode series was written in Iran, and the pre-production stage is over. The Canadian part will undertake the post-production process, including music production, editing, international distribution and publicity.
There are a number of studios at the center for training the staff, Safavi said.
"Thus, the Joy Village is the result of cooperation among specialists and newly educated staff."
Abbas Hassani, Javad Rahnama, Parisa Aram, Masoud Aslani and Vahid Dana are the projects screenwriters. Saeid Zameni and Rasoul Shiri are the directors.
"Joy Village" is the story of a group of fantasy animals in a ranch. In each session, an unpredictable event occurs which disturbs them.
Safavi hoped the outcome will appeal to children.
