Initiated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the cordial meeting, held while having a fast-breaking dinner, was also attended by vice presidential candidates Hatta Raja who is the running mate of Prabowo and Jusuf Kalla (JK) who is the running mate of Jokowi.
Besides Vice President Boediono, a number of state institutions leaders also attended the function. They were among others Peoples Consultative Assembly (MPR) Chairman Sidharto Danusubroto, House Speaker Marzuki Alie and Regional Representative Council (DPD) Chairman Irman Gusman.
Among ministers who attended the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Chief Economic Minister Chairul Tanjung, Coordinating Minister for Peoples Affairs Agung Laksono, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Minister Dipo Alam, Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) Commander General Moeldoko, Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa and a number of other state officials.
Indonesia has organized its presidential election last July 9. There were two presidential candidates in the 2014 election, namely Prabowo Subianto with his vice presidential candidate Hatta Radjasa and Jokowi and his running mate Jusuf Kalla.
