The Dutch theater company will perform at Saung Angklung Udjo, as one of their show series in Indonesia."Bandung, West Java (ANTARA News) - An international muppet show by t Magisch Theatertje from the Netherlands will be held in Bandung, West Java, on September 5, 2014, a local artist reported here on Friday.
"The Dutch theater company will perform at Saung Angklung Udjo, as one of their show series in Indonesia," chairperson of Saung Angklung Udjo, Taufik Hidayat noted.
He explained that t Magisch Theatertje was a show art and international visual community that had a track record of performing in more than 35 countries around the world at various international festivals.
The show in Bandung was organized in collaboration with the Dutch Cultural Center Erasmus Huis in Indonesia and the Sudanese Cultural Center Saung Angklung Udjo.
"This art show group will perform at Erasmus Huis, Jakarta, on Saturday and Monday," Taufik noted.
They will perform art show for children titled A Little Fairy Tale and for adults titled Cantos Animata, both directed by Charlotte Puijk-Joolen, with Ananda Puijk as the doll mover and Roel Puijk as the technical support.
According to Taufik, the art show group has vast experience of performing shows in various international festivals, and has won numerous awards.
t Magisch Theatertje is a very unique theater company because its repertoire is doll for adult audiences.
Charlotte Puijk-Joolen, who is a Dutch artist, is the creative genius of t Magisch Theatertje, which focuses on the field of puppet theater.
Besides being the artistic director, Charlotte also designs, creates, and performs in the shows.
Since establishing t Magisch Theatertje in 1996, Charlotte has held shows for adults and children, which has given an international reputation to the art group.
