GUANGZHOU, China, Sept. 29, 2014 (ANTARA/PRNewswire) -- Widely recognised as a highly lucrative window onto both global and Chinese markets, Canton Fair, China's biggest trade event, has launched series of innovated measures benefiting many exhibitors, which ultimately attract more top suppliers.

Canton Fair initiated its new "i-Win" service this year, in which VIP brand exhibitors can team up with the Fair to send out bespoke invitations to prospective buyers. After receiving an exhibitor's client list, fair organizer creates and sends out customized invitation letters, significantly enhancing the exhibitor's chances of winning new business.

For the buyers invited via "i-Win", they can enjoy speedy registration, as well as the organizer's help in facilitating trade introductions.

One company that has benefited from the Fair's services is Huida Group, a principal ceramic sanitary ware company that first attended Canton Fair in 1998. Trade opportunities brought by the Fair have been crucial in maintaining Huida's impressive 20% year-on-year growth, with exports currently worth US$100 million.

Other top Chinese suppliers are also utilizing Canton Fair as a major boost to sales and branding. Nantong Iron Master Sporting Industrial Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese fitness equipment manufacturer with annual sales of around US$76 million, found the "i-Win" especially helpful. "Thanks to our participation we received over 20 overseas buyers on the first morning of last Fair," says Miss Jiang, Iron Master's trade representative. "It was incredible. We didn't have time for lunch until 3pm."

No wonder many other Chinese companies wish to enter Canton Fair and follow the development path of Iron Master and Huida Group, but the path is reserved for top suppliers only. According to the Fair's official policy, minimum annual export volume of any booth applicant is 200,000 USD. Meantime, applicant must have membership of related industrial association and a sound operation record.

Complying with these stringent requirements cannot ensure a booth. Only around half qualified applicants finally get the chance to exhibit. In the 115th session, a total of 24,581 Chinese exhibitors came to the fair, making it a clustering of the best suppliers.

Huida and Iron Master will both exhibit at the upcoming 116th Canton Fair. Huida will exhibit in areas 10.1 A06-19, A04-05, B06-07, plus 11.2 D34-36 and E12-14 (Oct 15 - 19). Iron Master will exhibit in areas 5.2A05-12, B13-20 (Oct 31 - Nov 4).
