On Wednesday, Bambang, who police has named a suspect over alleged testimony at a Constitutional Court session in 2010, filed a similar report to the Indonesian human right body.
"I am healthy and sane. Many people are healthy but not sane," he said upon arrival at the ombudsman office here. He did not specify what he mean by his statement.
Bambang was arrested in Depok and was handcuffed on the way in police car to Jakarta.
The arrest of Bambang came only a few days after KPK named a corruption suspect police Comr.Gen Budi Gunawan, a candidate picked by the president to replace police chief Gen. Sutarman.
Bambang was accompanied by a number of lawyers from the Indonesian Legal Aid Institute .
Chairman of the ombudsman body Danang Girindrawardana said "we appreciate the initiative of Bambang in reporting his case to Ombudsman."
Danang said the ombudsman body would need around 41 days to study the report.
The results would be in the forms of recommendations to be sent to the president, police and KPK, he added.(*)
