JAKARTA, Indonesia, July 29, 2015 (Antara/PRNewswire) -- Chartered
Accountants of Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI) now have a fast track
route to membership of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
(CIMA), the world's largest professional body of management
accountants, through the newly implemented CIMA-IAI Strategic Programme.
As a CIMA member, they will also be awarded the Chartered Global
Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, a prestigious title jointly
conferred by CIMA and the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA).
Chartered accountants who are good standing members of IAI with more than 10 years of relevant work experience will only need to complete the final exam of the CIMA professional qualification, where they are tested on their readiness to apply management accounting knowledge in real world business situations. Those who have less than 10 years of relevant work experience will need to complete the last four exams of the CIMA qualification.
Management Accountants play a role in the identification and exploitation of business opportunities, while at the same time managing costs and risks, ensuring successful business operations. With the rapidly evolving business environment, there is an increased demand for professional accountants in business to be strategic partners to their organisation's Chief Executive Officers and Boards.
