In a short message to ANTARA here, Pasha stated that the meeting between Yudhoyono and the Indonesia-Japan Association chairman took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
"Yudhoyono expressed his views on the importance of friendship between Indonesia and Japan in the future and cooperation in various fields, particularly culture and economy," he remarked.
Pasha noted that the Indonesian former president is also scheduled to meet the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) President Akihito Tanaka on Wednesday evening.
Yudhoyono will also meet Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday morning, and in the afternoon, he will deliver a keynote speech at the Graduate School Institute for International Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo.(*)
