"A coalition helicopter assigned to the Resolute Support Mission crashed due to a non-hostile incident on Oct. 11 at approximately 4:15 p.m. at Camp Resolute Support, Kabul, Afghanistan," it said in a statement.
Five other foreign soldiers were wounded by the incident, the statement noted.
The statement gave neither the nationalities of the victims nor the details about the incident.
"The incident is currently under investigation. We will release additional information as appropriate."
This is the second air crash incident in the country this year. On Oct. 2, a four-engine C-130 transport plane of the coalition crashed in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad, killing six U.S. soldiers and five civilian passengers.
The helicopter crash has brought the death toll of foreign soldiers to 22 in Afghanistan this year.
Nearly 13,000 foreign forces are now stationed in the country and being involved in the Resolute Support mission.(*)
