"Let us submit the documents relevant to the proceedings to the legal authorities," Kalla informed newsmen at the Vice Presidential Palace here on Thursday.
When questioned about Novanto who resigned as house speaker instead of being given a sanction by the House of Representatives Ethics Council (MKD), the vice president affirmed that the outcome was just the same.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Kalla had remarked that Novantos resignation from the post of House of Representatives speaker would only solve half the problems.
Novanto stepped down from his position as house speaker according to his resignation letter submitted on Wednesday night.
Novantos letter of resignation was received by the House of Representatives MKD after 10 of its 17 members urged him to resign.
The members of the MKD had expressed their views regarding Novantos alleged violation of ethics in a closed-door meeting, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the deputy chairman of the MKD, said while reading out Novantos resignation letter.
However, the vice president opined that following Novantos resignation, his political issues have been solved, but the problem relating to his legal process was still far from over.(*)
